A Few Good Men

Tuesday

Today I got picked up by Cowboy and Buggy 7.15 am and we headed for the track, sunny and warm.

Just a few of us there today to work on the track and some maintenance stuff. 

Started out to change a bunch of tires for the track prep with Paul, Jonathan and Randy and after we made two new sets we were both sweaty and greasy. Drove over to Golf Cart-Jerry to pick up a couple of colf carts. Now it was time to get the eighteen wheeler trailer a good clean up. Sorted a lot of stuff, wiped the complete interior, vaccumed and polished. Had lunch at The Wheelie Bar, Branierds own restaurant. Randy and I went to the Fleet Farm for some trailer equipment, but we didn't find what we were looking for. Maybe because that place is just to big. Well, back again and took care of a lot of stuff untill 5 o'clock and we were done for the day. Rode back to the hotel with Paul in the sweeper truck, and had a quick shower. Packed all my stuff because I'm checking out tomorrow morning swaping for Holiday Inn instead. Now Lo Cal, Randy, Jonathan and Ron showed up and it was time for dinner at the Olive Garden an Italian restaurant. Great food indeed! But you know, there is always some room for dessert. So next stop was Cold Stone Creamery (yes, I gained a size in pants). Back at the hotel Laura and Jason turned up :-) Great to see these guys again! Jason is now with John Force Racing, so we had a little chat ;-) 

It was a really good day today along some very good people. I like it a lot out here, can I stay? ;-) Time is now 10pm and I'm off to bed, tomorrow we ride at damn.
