Update

Monday

Ok here is an update, so let's go back a few days and start with Saturday.

A day of very humid weather what worn us out by the end of the day. As I recall we had a lot of oil downs and also some other stuff to attend to. So pretty busy all day. But we also had some really good racing.

Done pretty early, so back to the hotel for a quick shower. Now off to The Zoo!

The Zoo at Brainerd Int Raceway is actually a huge camp ground in the middle of the race course, where race fans set camp over the weekend, and party :-) They also bring  their home made weird vehicles of all kind. Strolled through the camp and later on rode the famous pirat ship, great fire works aswell. Great night out along whit good friend!

Now on to Sunday.

Down to the lobby to meet Rick, but he was already gone because he is with thw water movers. Yes, it was raining. Well, got out there with Freddy instead and start to deal with the water. A lot of the opening ceremony was cancelled. Started a hour late (I think) with Top Fuel. 

On and off rain all day, so we tried the get at least the pros done. During the Top Dragster elimination two dragsters crashed together. A lot of work for both of the trucks.  Both drivers was conscious, one had to be cut out and flown out.

Finally done at 8.30pm. Now we started to pack everything up for Indy. Done about 11.15 pm wet and tired. We were supposte to take off for Indy after the race, but we returned to the hotel for one more night.

So today (Monday) Lo Cal, Randy, Rom  and I took off for Indy. We were leaving a wet and grey Brainerd behind us. I have had an awesome time here in the Brainerd/Baxter area, beautiful country and a great track with very nice peopleI'm going to miss it a lot.

Had great fun though riding down I-90 towards Illinois :-) Lo Cal was playing the harmonica and creating new lyrics to songs played on the radio :-D Hit I-39 south and ended up in Le Roy Illinois at 7pm and stopped for the night.

Tomorrow we ride at dawn. Good night
